How It Works

This PDF batch rename tool is built on the OpenDataLoader open-source local PDF parsing engine. All file processing is performed offline in your browser — no PDF documents are ever uploaded to cloud servers.

1. Local PDF Metadata Parsing: Reads the built-in document title and first-page main heading text from uploaded PDFs.

2. Watermark Text Cleaning: When "Clean URL watermarks" is enabled, automatically filters URL watermarks from headers and footers, eliminating interference with title recognition.

3. Dual-Mode Batch Rename Logic:

- Auto-extract title mode: Prioritizes PDF built-in document titles, with preset fallback naming rules when no valid title is found.

- Uniform prefix + sequence mode: Specify a custom prefix, and sequential numbers are automatically generated in file upload order.

4. Batch Export: After all files are processed, download all renamed PDF files in one click.
